Psychedelic Integration Support
Psychedelic Integration Support
Psychedelic medicines can catapult as a person to identify more with "the soul" than the "ego". These awakenings to higher consciousness states can happen with or without an experiential crisis. The bio-medical perspective often uses a disease model and can label these experiences as "mental illness". Personal transformations can be catalyzed by day to day stress or by traumatic experiences. With adequate support, individuals can develop an improved sense of well being, less dependency on medications or negative coping mechanisms, more interest in life and increased self-awareness and creativity.

As a young boy, Nathaniel learned how to use medicinal plants from his mother while spending time in Africa and Europe. Nathaniel studied herbalism and medicinal plants as part of his undergraduate degree at Hampshire College. In 2006, Nathaniel went to work under the guidance of Dr. Lyle Craker, Director of the Medicinal Plant Program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. While teaching at UMass, Nathaniel continued to learn about herbalism from studying with Rosemary Gladstar, and co-taught field study courses in the Amazon rainforests of Peru. Over the past 10 years, Nathaniel has worked along side and trained with many herbalists and ethnobotanists including Chris Kilham, Kathleen Harrison, Chris Marano, Margi Flint and Guido Mase. Nathaniel's philosophy pairs the art and science of herbalism in an integrated health approach towards wellness.
